Ticket Dates:
- Hardcopy or Live Ticket Sale now over.
- E-Ticket or Online Ticket Sale: April 23, 6pm Alberta time
- Limited Income Ticket Applications Open April 23, and close May 23
You may purchase a maximum of 2 tickets from the entire ticket pool. The 2 ticket maximum is inclusive of the live sale. Do not buy at the live sale and online. Give everyone a chance! For the online e-ticket sale, you must have a profile set up on this site. Create your profile anytime!
Freezer Burn is 100% volunteer driven! It can only exist through the hard work we as a collective put into it. So make sure you sign up to volunteer for 2023. Volunteer signup begins March 26.

Hey Burners! Freezer Burn is 100% volunteer driven! It can only exist through the hard work we as a collective put into it. So make sure you sign up to volunteer for 2023 when we call for you and participate in the communal effort it takes to create something this special!
What you need to know
To enter, every participant (including volunteers) must:
- have a ticket and picture ID
- read The Survival Guide BEFORE the event, example HERE
- AND sign a waiver at the Gate. Read it ahead of time, HERE.
Got your ticket? Great! KNOW THIS:
- You must agree to the Freezer Burn Terms and Conditions outlined in the indemnity waiver.
- All ticket holders will be required to sign the indemnity waiver upon entry to the event.
- If you bought a hard copy ticket in the in-person sale, you MUST have your ticket with you to get in to Freezer Burn. Identification is required with your ticket at the gate. Read your Survival Guide.
- If you bought your ticket online, bring your e-copy or a printed copy with the bar code for scanning. You MUST have your ID ready. Read your Survival Guide HERE.
- Participants without tickets and identification will be turned away.
- If you choose to sell or gift your ticket you must NEVER sell it for a price above face value or use sites such as Kijiji or Ebay. Email freezerburntickets@gmail.com for help on finding a buyer.

FAQ
How do I get to Freezer Burn?
Directions will be emailed out about a week before the event. Make sure you enter your email correctly when you buy your tickets so we can email you the directions.
How do I transfer my hard copy ticket?
All you have to do is exchange your hard copy ticket and Survival Guide for payment, in person, and NEVER for more than face value. Please remember to get the email address of the buyer so you can forward directions to them.
I have an e-ticket. Do I need to print it out for the gate?

Can I still register for TIES (Ticket Information Exchange System)? ONLY AFTER EVENT SOLD OUT
Note: TIES only launches in the case of the event selling out. This program works to connect people selling tickets to volunteers who still need tickets. If you are a volunteer that needs a ticket please fill out a volunteer form. On the form there is a box where you can let the volunteer coordinators that a ticket is required. If you are selling a ticket please consider providing your ticket to a volunteer and go through the Freezer burn ticket team for them to coordinate. Our festival can’t happen without volunteers! Please email freezerburntickets@gmail.com and they will help direct your ticket to a volunteer. Remember – Please do not ever sell your tickets for more than you paid! Please look to sell on Facebook burner sites or consider contacting freezerburntickets@gmail.com to provide your ticket to TIES.
I need help with ticket issues! What do I do?
Contact the Ticket Team at freezerburntickets@gmail.com and they will help you. Remember: Please avoid buying tickets off of Kijiji or Ebay. You will likely get scammed.
SELLING/SEEKING TICKETS once regular tickets are sold out?
NEVER buy or sell your ticket on sites such as Kijiji or eBay. NEVER buy or sell your ticket for more than face value (plus fees, if applicable). Doing so may forfeit your future right to purchase tickets and if we see any tickets going for more than face value they will be voided. Instead, check out the event page on Facebook to resell or to buy. (remember that Limited Income Tickets are non transferable). If you can’t use yours, let your Ticket Team know before Freezer Burn and will direct you to a volunteer who needs a ticket (email freezerburntickets@gmail.com)
What if I need a Limited Income Ticket?
Applications will open early March for 2023. It’s a process you need to start by emailing once the applications open. Email freezerburntickets@gmail.com to start the application process. The Limited Income program is for people who would not otherwise be able to afford to attend. Limited Income tickets are non-transferable or refundable – no exceptions There are 75 Limited Income tickets available and are on a first come, first serve basis.
Who Is considered for Limited Income Tickets?
As a rough guide, anyone who is experiencing income near or below the most recent Living Wage for the province of Alberta would be quite eligible for the Freezer Burn Limited Income Tickets program. If you are experiencing hardships due to health costs, please let us know in the “anything else you would like us to know” part of the application process.
Can I bring my kids?
Freezer Burn is a family-friendly event (although adult themes may be present). You’ll need to know this: Children under 13 years of age are free but must be registered before the event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians must sign a waiver for each person under the age of 18 at the gate and must supervise any minors at all times during the event.
